My wife, Cassie, and I moved to Champlin in 2012 shortly after getting married, and it’s been home ever since. We have two wonderful daughters; both are students at Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy. Like many families, our lives revolve around school, activities, and spending time together in the community.
Professionally, I’ve spent more than 20 years working in advertising and marketing. Much of my work has been alongside local chambers of commerce, convention and visitor bureaus, and various state agencies. That experience has given me a strong appreciation for how communities grow, how local economies function, and the importance of thoughtful planning and communication.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and connected in the community. I’m involved in charitable work through Star Wars costuming groups (that’s right…I’m a huge nerd!), where we participate in events that support local causes and bring a little fun to community gatherings. It’s been a great way to give back and connect with people of all ages.
In my free time, I enjoy working on and driving my classic car. As a family, we love getting out for bike rides in the community, paddling our kayaks down the Rum River, Elm Creek or Hayden Lake and spending time outdoors in our area local and state parks, especially camping!
I’ve always believed that strong communities are built through everyday connections with conversations, shared experiences, and looking out for one another.
